HAB Consult is an accounting firm founded in 2004 by Gideon Edward Boateng and Henry Akowuah Bosompem. In 2015, the tax division was established to provide business advisory services focusing on taxation and related business issues. In 2014, the Advisory Board was established to provide a wide range of advisory services to the local and international business communities. The firm is one of the longest-surviving practices in the country, providing services to multinational corporations and domestic companies operating in a wide range of business sectors. The firm's people development is enhanced by training platforms, which provide access to industry training, technical skill-building, and instruction in various methodologies through training courses both in-house and on an international and regional basis.

Francis is a highly analytical and experienced Chartered Accountant who is currently the Managing partner at HAB Consult. He has over 40 years of experience in audits and accounting tasks across several business sectors in the economy, including SSNIT, Ghana Libyan Arab Holding Company, the Defunct Bank for Housing and Construction, and Mechanical Lloyd.
He is a member of the Institute of chartered accountants in Ghana and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from Leicester in the United Kingdom. He has also mentored many professionals under his tutelage and is gifted with the ability to discover budding talents for training and mentorship.
Henry is an experienced Chartered Accountant who has worked on various projects across the Local Government Sector in Ghana and the rest of Africa. He is currently the Managing Consultant and Founder of HAB Consult (Chartered Accountants). He has also worked with notable firms such as Pannel Kerr Foster, Messrs Owusu & Fiadjoe Chartered Accountants, Unihydro Limited, Fosat Consortium, and with the European Union as a financial Manager. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG) and the Practice Society of Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana.
He has been the team lead in quite several Audits, Consultancy services, Budgeting and Forecasting of Financial trends Lecturing, and Training of many young accountants in Ghana and beyond.

Frank Kojo Agobo is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in assurance, financial and advisory services. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and holds an MPHIL (Accounting) and BSc Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana. Frank played a key role in the reporting requirements for Ghana Commercial Agricultural Project (GCAP) at the Kpong Left Bank Irrigation Project (KLBIP). He has participated in social audits as part of requirement from the international Finance Corporation (IFC) at the KLBIP. Prior to joining
HAB Consult, Frank worked for Brio Chartered Accountants as Partner.
Edmund N.A. Arday is a highly professional and experienced analytical specialist with over 15 years of expertise in business consultancy, procurement, and logistics management. He holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Robert Gordon University and a BSc in Accountancy & Finance from the University of Greenwich. Edmund has worked across diverse industries, including serving as a Managing Executive Consultant at TPG Consulting and holding senior roles at Sirius Integrated Ltd.. He is well-versed in financial reporting, project cost control, risk assessment, and strategic planning, with technical proficiency in tools like SAP, Primavera, QuickBooks, and MS Projects. A member of ACCA, CIMA, and APM,
Edmund combines leadership with proven results in business restructuring and operational excellence.
Enoch has over 28 years’ experience in the field of Project Management, Compliance, Risk, Financial Management, Accounting, Operations, Contracts and Grants Management, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) techniques. Enoch has been involved in various project evaluation, reviews and quality audit.
He managed many donor projects; notable among them are the USAID Partnership for Education – Accountability as Chief of Party, Golden Concept Consult as Executive Director and STAR-Ghana, a multi-donor (DFID, EU, DANIDA and USAID) pool fund with the overall financial management responsibilities and strategic programmes compliance and implementation. He has experience in managing and overseeing the grants, strategic programmes compliance, risk and program implementation. In addition, he has been responsible for accounting, budgeting and budgetary control and donor financial reporting and risk management. Enoch has good working relationships with governmental institutions and similar bodies including Parliament.
Enoch has cumulative hands-on professional experience in managing the finance and administration, grants, procurement and operations of several civil society capacity building programs in Ghana on various projects. Enoch was responsible for the financial management of capacity building trainings for CSOs, project planning, monitoring and reporting for success of the multi donor funded STAR Ghana Project. Prior to joining HAB Consult, Enoch worked for Brio Chartered Accountants as Senior Audit Manager
Evans is a qualified Chartered Accountant and auditor within our assurance practice responsible for the delivery of assurance services to financial and non-financial service institutions, donor funded projects, government ministries and agencies and not-for-profit entities.
He holds master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Xiamen University, China and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He also holds certificate in Banking Operations from the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana and also undergone a number of Banking programs at the National Banking College Ghana.
Evans has performed audit of financial statements in accordance with various financial reporting framework – International Standard on Auditing (ISA), international financial reporting framework (IFRS)/International Accounting Standard (IAS). He has extensive knowledge and experience in Commercial Banking. Prior to joining Brio Chartered Accountants, he worked with the Credit Evaluation Team and Business Relationship Management Team at City Investment Company Limited and Premium Bank Ghana Ltd respectively to raise debt finances for companies in Transport &Aviation, Telecommunication, Construction and Financial Services Industries. He is also a part time lecturer in Public Sector Accounting and Finance, Advanced Audit and Assurance and Strategic Case Study. Prior to joining HAB Consult Evans was the Audit Manager at Brior Chartered Accounats.
Kafui is an associate with the firm’s Assurance Services unit. He is area of expertise is business process documentation and documentation of internal controls. Prior to joining the assurance services unit of the firm, Kafui was an accountant with the responsibility of data processing for SMEs and NGOs. His major clients include: Marwako Fast Food Ltd, Aves International School, Weema Hotel, New Legon International School, Morimaz Limited.
Robert is an Audit manager with HAB Consult responsible for managing assurance, accounting and tax advisory line of service. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. He is a strong accounting professional and an experienced audit manager with a demonstrated history of working across various sectors namely Manufacturing, IT, Education, Construction & Real Estates, Hospitality, Insurance, Oil and Gas, Government and NGOs. He has used applications such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Draftworks, SAP, Pastel, Quickbooks, Private Audit Company Software (PCAS), and Microsoft Word, Excel outlook and PowerPoint.
Robert has undertaken several tax advisory engagements and tax audits. He also performed several engagements such as the Audit of financial statements according to various financial reporting framework-International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and International financial reporting framework (IFRS). He has supported clients in the review and improvement of their internal controls. Prior to joining HAB Consult, Robert worked for Deon & Noed as Audit Manager.
Godwin is an audit associate at HAB Consult responsible for the delivery of assurance and accounting services to clients. He has well versed in accounting. Godwin has vast knowledge in data analytics and most accounting software (e.g. Xero, VT, QuickBooks, etc.), as well as paying critical attention to detail. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing his chartered accountancy professional exam with ICAG.
Fredrica is an audit associate at HAB. She is currently at level II of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants examination. She has practical experience in audit from both private, public and the petroleum sector, where she was tasked with preparation of financial statements, data analytics, review of final accounts, secretarial, executive support roles, and other office management task assigned. Prior to joining the assurance unit of the firm Fredrica was an audit associate at Brio Chartered Accountants. She has agood professional demeanor.
Emmanuel is an audit associate at HAB Consult and has in-depth knowledge and experience in accounting for SMEs and payroll management as well as GRA & SSNIT compliance. He is well versed in most accounting software (Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.). and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, which was acquired from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), and is currently pursuing his chartered accountancy professional exam with ICAG. Prior to joining the assurance unit of the firm, Emmanuel was an accounting assistant with the responsibility of data processing for SMEs.
Zhakia is an audit associate at HAB Consult. Zarkia Fakuba Braimah is an aspiring ACCA professional with a B.Sc. in Business Administration (Accounting/Banking & Finance) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Prior to joining the assurance unit of the firm Zarkia was a consultant with the Business Advisory Service unit of TPG Consultancy. Her main area of expertise is recruitment services, business development, security documents write-ups, corporate secretarial services management, and corporate legal advisory services management. She has demonstrated leadership through various roles, including internships and participating in industry-related conferences.
Alexander is an IT and creative design specialist with over 5 years of experience delivering impactful solutions across industries such as education, manufacturing, and NGOs. He currently serves as the IT Manager at HAB Consult, where he designs and manages IT infrastructure, implements cybersecurity measures, and trains staff on ERP systems. Alexander also consults for Silgh Holdings, providing IT solutions, website development, and strategic technology advice. Proficient in tools like Power BI, SQL, Figma, and Excel, he blends technology with innovative design to deliver client-focused solutions. Alexander holds an MSc in Cyber Security (ongoing) from IUBH International University of Applied Science and a BSc in Information Technology from the University of Ghana.
Rosebud is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast. She currently serves as an Administrator, leveraging her strong organizational and communication skills to ensure operational efficiency. Rosebud has prior experience as a Reporter/Production Assistant at Graphic Communications (The Mirror), where she honed her skills in administrative support, research, and project implementation. She also worked as a Sales Executive at Nivea, excelling in market research, client relationship management, and sales strategy development. Divine is an IT Consultant for Brio Chartered Accountants. He is a technologist, a certified data and application security analyst with professional certifications such as ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA), EC Council Security Specialist (ECSS), IBM-Application Security Analyst (IBM-ASA) and IBM- Mobile Application Developer (IBM-MAD) with over 7 years’ experience in revenue assurance and IT Audit.
Has worked as a computer programmer with superior knowledge in multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Ubuntu, Backtrack, Red Hat Mac OS X) and possess expert knowledge in programming languages such as Java, C++, Visual basic, Mobile application development and databases.
He is also a CAATs expert with very deep experience using Audit Command Language (ACL) and Arbutus for Revenue Assurance, Continuous monitoring and for Fraud Detection. In the past five years, He worked at ACL as a technical manager and was very instrumental in the implementation of ACL solution for more than 30 organizations in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and The Gambia, across several platforms such as SQL, T24, Flexcube, Finacle, QuickBooks, Oracle, X100 etc. While in ACL, he successfully implemented revenue assurance solutions and trained several organizations in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and The Gambia including SSNIT Ghana, NLA -Ghana, Students Loans Trust Fund – Ghana, Royal Bank – Ghana, GCB Bank – Ghana, Ecobank - Ghana, Ministry of Finance – The Gambia, National Audit Directorate – The Gambia, Skye Bank -Nigeria, Seed Fund – Ghana, FDSH – Nigeria, Ecobank -Kenya.

Alex is a seasoned public Financial Management Specialist with impeccable record and has very high standards of personal conduct and integrity. He has extensive good leadership record for over 25 years. Alex currently builds capacity (teaches) for public sector institution staff both internally and externally in various areas in Public Financial Management including Public Budgeting and Resource Allocation, Budget and Fiscal Policy Implementation, Governance, Leadership and Management, International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Government Finance Statistics, PEFA Framework, Financial Risk Management, Financial Control and Internal Audit, Supreme and External Audit, Procurement and Project Management. Alex is also a lecturer (adjunct lecturer) in Health Financing on a graduate course in one of the private universities (Pentecost University) in Ghana.
Kwaku is a professional accountant with more than twenty (20) years of Accounting and Auditing experience, with an extensive background in Financial Management, Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit and controls, Process improvement, Treasury, Taxation and Accounting system implementation. Currently, he is the Director of Internal Audit at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), carrying out Financial, Operational, and Compliance, Information technology, Procurement and other Special audits. He is also a Director at Brio Chartered Accountants leading accounting and advisory. Kwaku if a fellow with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA, UK). He holds Executive master’s in business administration and Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics.
Emmanuel is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and has over 20years experience in the field of accounting and financial management in both domestic and international companies. He is an executive MBA holder in finance and has worked in various management positions.
Prio to associating with HAB Consult, he has gone through the ranks to become the Financial Manager of GHACEM Ghana Limited and as Finance Director at Liberia Cement Corporation where he led the various teams in improving the financial health and growth of the company. He was also an internal audit sectional manager at Electricity Company of Ghana Limited where he reviewed and assessed the adequacy of internal controls, compliance with corporate, financial reporting and compliance policies and guidelines.
Consultant Kojo Kerr-Rabbles has worked with our firm for the past two years. Prior to joining the firm, he has held several key positions in Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) for over thirty- five (35) years and has amassed in-depth experience in pension fund management. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds MBA in Finance and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
