Gideon Edward Boateng and Henry Akowuah Bosompem established HAB Consult as an accounting firm in 2004. In 2015, the tax division was established to provide business advisory services focusing on taxation and related business issues. In 2014, the Advisory Board was established to provide a wide range of advisory services to the local and international business communities.
